Brian Croft’s book Biblical Church Revitalization: Solutions for Dying and Divided Churches is a firsthand account of lessons learned from pastoring a declining thirty year old church. Croft encourages longterm commitment, faithfulness to God’s word, and a shepherding heart. The book is not only an excellent stand alone resource but also frequently points to additional resources that cover aspects of biblical church revitalization.
Upon reading Croft’s excellent book, this reader has realized that every church ministry is ultimately a revitalization ministry as no church is spiritually static. Either the church is being revitalized or it is in decline.
